Fifteen years forging MMO infrastructure from the inside out.
Founder of Studio AGGRO — building the worlds I always wanted to play.
I've spent fifteen years deep inside the infrastructure of online worlds — designing, building, and scaling the backend systems that keep thousands of players connected, persistent, and alive inside shared realities.
MMOs aren't just a genre to me. I'm a 20-year veteran of World of Warcraft and RuneScape — games that shaped how I think about economies, world state, player behavior, and what it truly means to build a living world. That time wasn't passive. It was an education.
I've worked across the full spectrum of MMO infrastructure: real-time server architecture, distributed systems, persistence layers, world simulation, and the dark art of keeping latency invisible. I know what breaks at scale, because I've watched it break — and then fixed it.
Now that expertise funds an obsession: Studio AGGRO, where we're building the MMO I've spent two decades dreaming about.
Fifteen years designing and scaling the systems that power persistent online worlds. From zone servers and world state management to distributed game logic — I've built the scaffolding that makes shared reality possible.
Architecting systems that handle thousands of concurrent players without buckle. Real-time networking, load balancing, fault tolerance, and the unglamorous craft of keeping latency invisible at scale.
Deep experience with server emulation, server architecture, and custom game server development. Understanding systems well enough to rebuild them from scratch — and improve what existed.
Designing the persistence layers and world simulation logic that make MMO worlds feel alive between sessions. Economy systems, player state, and the data architecture behind living, breathing worlds.
Twenty years as a player informed my instincts as a builder. I understand what players actually need — from the inside. Progression, economy, social systems, and the feel of a world worth living in.
Building the internal infrastructure that developers need to ship: automation pipelines, deployment tooling, observability, and the operational systems that keep live games running without constant intervention.
Step forward. Draw the heat. Lead the charge.
Studio AGGRO is an independent game studio built by a small, remote team of developers driven by ambition, creativity, and grit.
Inspired by MMO culture, "AGGRO" means stepping forward, drawing the heat, and leading the charge — and that's exactly how we approach this industry.
We believe creativity and passion can rival any budget. Our mission is simple: build ambitious MMO worlds that stand alongside the giants — without being one.
We are currently developing our first MMO world, with early content nearing showcase. This is just the beginning.
